He took a long, slow breath at the feel of her fingers in his hair. Hi, Heidi, he whispered into her mind. Peter didn't feel like talking yet, but he could understand the need for a few minutes of fresh air. Holding her tighter for a moment, Peter concentrated, and teleported the pair of them into the Hyperion's gardens. The flowers were still in bloom, though starting to close up for the autumn. The air was cool and crisp. Peter walked them over to one of the benches and sat, carefully, so that he didn't have to let go of his big sister, but could shift himself so that he was leaning on her side instead of her back.
