At the voice who had started to speak, she nearly jumped out of her skin. On a general basis, she would've realized that the vampire had entered the room, but at that moment, she hadn't. Her thoughts had been preoccupied with Sarah and the thought that her cousin was out there, alone.
A soft smile crossed her lips and she shook her head. "It isn't that. It's more...I don't know how to explain it. I guess you could say I worry too much. I mean, I am the vampire loving hippie out of mine and Sarah's family. It generally makes me a little...odd on things. Like slaying vampires here, Sarah told me they're not like Nikolas, Kristopher, or Nissa. That they wouldn't jsut stand and talk to me for no reason at all. I mean, she said you were the exception to that rule. But Sarah...she's the only family I've got now that won't try to kill me." She shrugged a little bit and turned to check the water, it was boiling. She reached up to grab a cup and turned the heat off from underneath it and poured herself a little some tea, mixing a little sugar into it.
"It isn't so bad, I mean, Sarah needed someone around. And I'm as close as it gets to her family that even likes her. The rest just want her dead because she is tainted, she was once a vampire and now she is no longer." She took a cautious drink of her tea, her gaze rested on the vampires and then darted away as if remembering something.
