Things were getting out of hand. With the end of the world raining down, demons, vampires, and whatever else out there that was evil seemed to be taking advantage of the situation. But she wasn't willing to give up on this planet. No one should have to see two worlds die, it wasn't right. When the sun set, Kara set out on her patrol through the city. It didn't take long to find anything. It was like there were no rules in this place anymore. It was a free for all.
Only a few minutes out and she had easily came across five demons, large, red in colour, with three horns. She didn't recognize them, but the demon they were surrounding she did. Not personally, but it was a non hostile demon. They were probably going to kill him, maybe for a reason, maybe for run, but she wasn't going to allow it. They were closing in when Kara slammed into the pavement of the ally, creating cracks in the ground. All movement stopped as she slowly raised her head to look at the circled up demons. To the target beside her, she looked said quietly. "The second you can, run." she didn't wait for a reaction from him, though some of the bigger demons scoffed.
A smirk came across her face. They were over confident. Kara already knew she could beat them all hands tied. In a blue and red blur she moved around the circle. She grabbed two demons, and sent them flying into two more, and all four of them went tumbling out into the main street. When she turned for the fifth, the small demon was already running. She slammed one red boot into the demons head, sending him flying to join the others.
When she got to the main street, it was already obvious they had a bit of an audience. Across the street some people, or maybe they weren't humans, she didn't know, had stopped to watch. There was some pointing, some screaming, and some running. She moved through the pile again, fits slamming into all of them again, scattering them across the street.
Two of them ran, three of them were stupid, and grabbed hostages. Shaking her head, Kara watched them, why did they always have to do this the hard way? "Not smart, boys...uh...you are boys, right?" she asked, watching them carefully. She was moving again, fast their their demonic eyes could follow. Demon one went flying backwards and into brick wall while Kara held the hostage in place. Onto the second, she had twisted the demons arm into letting go of the hostage before her eyes flared red, and her heat vision went right through the demons head, destroying it. The last one had started to run, leaving the poor woman he had grabbed behind.
She looked to the people on the streets, slightly annoyed. "Get inside! Run." she ordered, and they did just that. Taking to the sky, she caught up to the last demon no problem. She grabbed the things by around hits arms, and the two of them were air born. The demon was yelling something at her, but it wasn't English, or any language that Kara knew, so she didn't respond. When she picked up enough speed, the let go of the demon, sending him flying into a brick wall of an abandoned warehouse. He didn't get back up.
Sighing, Kara looked around again. It was mostly quiet, again, the fight had scared most people away. When would they learn to stay inside?
