Ginny followed behind Peter silently, her arms crossed over her chest. She didn't really look to see where she was going, just kept her eyes on Peters feet as she looked down, lost in thought.
When they got to the door she looked up again. Taking a deep breath, she stepped into the room. The chill didn't bother her. Her eyes fell on Lavender, and she raised her hand to her mouth. Sorrow filled up behind her eyes as she just stared for a moment, not really trusting herself to say much.
After a moment she dropped her hand, walking toward the bed. She went right up, stopping beside her to look down. She shook her head slightly, a tear slipping down her face. Seeing her just made it that much more real. She took in a shaky breath, reaching down to brush the others womans hair gently with her fingers. "I'm so sorry, love." she said softly, "Our war was supposed to be over, we were supposed to live our lives. This never should have happened to you."
