He hadn't meant to snap at Kim, and in that moment he felt a little guilty. She was only trying to help him and he'd come off as an ass, and his words had bite. "I've just been sleeping alot, that's all.." He tried to pass it off as nothing, even though he'd never slept more in his life than he did after he got sick. He had always had alot of energy, life to his eyes whereas now it was somewhat dull.
"Mhm. Yup." Casey gave her a nearly smug smirk when she mentioned he was leader, and red. Sometimes it still got to his head, but hey he was just finding his place as a ranger. He was almost certain he wasn't the only one who ever got a big head when someone acknowledged their leadership role. He tilted his head in slight confusion. "Tommy..and me? No way." A look of disbelief on his face as he laughed. "Sometimes...he can be a little over protective though." Casey made a face, but then it melted down into a smile as he thought about how much RJ had taken care of him the past few weeks. Then that had turned into a sort of distant sadness..wishing it wasn't all in vain. But even if he stayed in bed the world was going to end, he needed to be out there and be helping otherwise he was just going to die without a fight.
He wasn't down with that. Casey followed Kim to the warehouse and frowned. "I hate warehouses." rubbing the back of his neck in slight embarrassment. "Nothing good ever comes out of a warehouse." He muttered before turning a corner and hearing noises behind them, he stopped and put an arm out infront of her. "Hear that?" Shuffling feet -or what he hoped were feet echoed and then stopped when they stopped. "I think we're being followed."
