Pansy used all of her remaining energy to hold back her sobs, to swallow them down and keep them at bay for both of their sakes. She didn't want to worry him anymore than he already was, and she didn't want to get herself worked up. She was too afraid to. She felt almost too weak to even cry.
"Nothing, no," she said, shaking her head very slightly. "It doesn't help, anyway."
