Kat would probably be amused and pleased if she knew he was comparing her to someone on his team. It meant there was a tight bond budding between them, and she missed that. The friendship she'd shared with those at SPD was special, she longed for it here. She knew it couldn't replace what she had back home, but it was a start. These new rangers appearing left and right gave her new meaning. Kat was the type of person who longed to be needed.
"Not one ranger is more important than the other. " She chuckled and patted his shoulder before turning to the coffee that finished brewing and pouring two mugs. Unsure if androids liked coffee, she poured him one anyway so it wouldn't be rude. "Cream and sugar? Doggie always drank his black." She mused, a hint of sadness in her tone. She missed him and it was obvious. She wondered if the commander would be searching for her. But moments later it faded and she smiled again, she was strong. She had to be for the new rangers, but mostly for herself. She didn't bother to put anything in her coffee, instead simply drank it black. Wincing all along at the bitter flavor. But it helped rouse her senses and keep her awake.
She'd spent several days setting the place up to make the proper upgrades to each of the suits. "You'll find a way. Learn to accept them for who they are, each of them has a path to take and a reason for fighting. Learn what that reason is Mack, and your group will be strong."
