"I... I don't know. Something like that shouldn't cause food poisoning symptoms," Gabriel said as he slipped his glasses back on, rubbing the center of his forehead as he closed his eyes. He couldn't for the life of him think of anything that would actually cause someone's digestive system to behave like that. While he might be able to tell that something was wrong, he was no doctor, and he didn't have the knowledge that was necessary to go much farther than the basics.
"No. No, the contaminated water is probably what is making them ill," Gabriel said, sighing. "There's another reason for this. It's got to be something that happened to you or that you did or ate or...something. Have you done anything unusual in the...past few weeks? Anything that might have been routine?" Gabriel paused before amending his statement. "At least for here."
