Sarah stood stock still when he stared at her, not understanding why he was, but hesitant to move until she understood. And then he spoke and she did – too well, in fact. That was it, that must be the other part of his power. She'd known for some time now he was a genius with fixing and building things, intuitively understand how things worked, but she hadn't understood how that connected to the man called Sylar and the things she'd heard and been directly told about him.
But the how didn't matter, because she trusted Gabriel, whatever he was doing.
Small intestines. She'd paid enough attention in high school and college requisite biology to know what he was saying. All the food she'd been consuming to try and sate her 'mutant appetite', as she'd taken to calling it, all the intended nutrients from that, weren't reaching her.
