"He nodded off faster than I thought. Obviously I wore him out," she asked, still peering at the baby. Which wasn't saying much given that she'd been simply sitting on the bed with him for for about an hour. She liked that. She liked the way he felt in her arms and that was much of the reason she'd kept him there.
"We didn't have any time before he was born. You showed up and I was huge." Dora smiled, shaking her head. Strands of pink hair tossed around her face, landing over her eyes. "And then everyone else started showing up. It was quite a windfall for awhile." Though, she wasn't complaining. She wouldn't dream of taking Sirius, James, and Lily away from her husband.
Dora bit down on her lip. "Before you go running after Fenrir, put your son down for a nap and come sit with me again?"
