Brennan smiled, “you do seem to be the one who gets most of the hugs when I do give them.” She pointed out, usually when she was upset or scared, which at first irritated her. The attempt at stifling the yawn wasn’t lost on her and she started to edge away from the bed again, fully intending on letting him sleep this time. “Logically I’ll need Hodgins at the Jeffersonian, you can have Sweets.”
“I’m sorry if I offended you,” although that apology wasn’t valid since her expression said otherwise. Brennan watched him for a moment or two to check he didn’t look in any immediate threat of getting worse before heading over to the other side of the room and sitting herself in front of the laptop so she wouldn’t go distract him further. “I’ll be right here if you need me and remember, if you get any more symptoms it’s important to let me know.”
