"I'd be afraid of letting him go at a punching bag," Booth said dryly. "Though one of those Bozo bopping bags might be right up his alley." He rolled his eyes. "Believe me. There's been times when I've been sorely tempted."
When Brennan left to go get more water, he took the opportunity to shift around so that the blanket was more on top of him than underneath him, doing him no good at all. By the time she'd returned, he'd won the fight.
"Then I'll be honest with you and tell you if I begin feeling any worse or any symptoms show up," he replied as he pulled the blanket up tighter. "Just the chills."
