"Well, outside of that. Sweets makes for great backup in a verbal spar I know I'm losing. Though I wouldn't tag him as my second in a physical fight. Somehow I'd see him as a one punch lights out kind of guy," he mused.
He shifted just enough to grab the discarded blanket and tug it up over him as a wave of chills struck. "There's a balance," he admitted, "but sometimes you just want to hear the straight out truth of the matter. Sugar coating only makes it worse. Like right now? I'd rather know the possibilities."
He moved a hand out from under the blanket to give her the thumbs up sign.
