Brennan stopped by the door and turned around to stare blankly at Booth, she knew enough about contamination to expect the worst first and that’s what scared her the most. “In most unnoticeable poisons, stuff you can’t see, smell or taste, there’s a pattern of symptoms universally acknowledged..” She felt her expression shift, so much for trying to remain neutral this time. “Booth, logically the victim always gets better before they get worse. Rare cases can deviate from this..I’m hoping you’re right, I want to believe that you'll be fine.” She managed another smile, “you need to educate me with pop culture and you can’t do that if you’re sick.”
