Jazz couldn't really help but laugh a bit as he knelt down on one knee, so she wouldn't have to crane her neck so much to look at him. Around other bots he was the shortest, so they always had to look down, but around humans, he was still pretty big.
"You better believe it. It's me, the one an' only Jazz." The smile on her face was one that he remembered, even though the last time he'd seen her was in the middle of a battle with the Decepticons. At the mention of Bee, Jazz was surprised. "Bee? Bee's here? Off da hook!" He was excited now. To see any members of their team would make him extremely pleased.
The babbling he didn't mind. If she started hyperventilating from talking too much...well that would have been a problem. He was patient as she tried to compose herself and calm down. She could take all the time she needed. He wasn't in a rush.
Her questions were good ones. How had he gotten here? "Well..." he began, "I really have no clue how I got here. Last thing I remember I was tryin' to beat down Megatron. That...didn't work too well. He grabbed me and climbed on top of some building and I swear he was gonna rip me in half..." Jazz paused a minute, remembering it vividly. Him struggling against Megatron to no avail. "Next thing I know, everything's black and I end up outside L.A. with no idea where anybody's at."
It still confused him thoroughly. You didn't just randomly get pulled from one place and dropped in another.
