Panicking inwardly as she scarcely managed a reply, he bit his lip and glanced down at her smaller, hunched form. He couldn't get up and leave to find help, because he didn't want to leave her alone. There was absolutely no way in hell he was going to leave her in the bathroom, either. "It's going to be okay, Alex," he murmured into her hair, kissing the top of her head lightly.
Even though he wasn't really talking to Joe at the moment, due to the whole red hair stint, he had to go and get him and ask him for help. Being exceptionally careful with her, and trying to not move her too much, Nick slid his arm under Alex's legs and picked her up gently, cradling her carefully against his body before exiting the bathroom to find his brother slowly.
"Joe?" he called as a warning, panic evident in his voice. "Joe, there's something wrong with Alex," His voice cracked halfway through his sentence and he brought Alex down onto his bed, looking at his brother expectantly, his eyes practically pleading with him to help.
