The past couple of days had been hectic for Nick, and as a result of him giving more of a toss about making sure his middle brother's life was a living hell thanks to his little hair dyeing (among others) incident, he hadn't realized his own girlfriend's situation in regards to her illness and seriously deteriorated. Maybe that was just what happened when you came from a sibset of four boys, pranks outweighed real life.
However, while he was sitting in his room, brooding on his bed and thinking of new ways in which he could cause his brother's pranking downfall, he caught the figure of Alex running to the bathroom out of the corner of his eye. Thinking nothing of it, until he was sure he heard vomiting, his brows knitted together and he walked cautiously to the bathroom - knocking softly on the door to find a response. "Alex?" he asked quietly, his shoulder resting on the door while he waited for an answer. "You okay?" he tried after a minute when she didn't reply. He was about to shrug and walk away, thinking it was a girl thing, before something told him to open the door and walk inside.
He closed it softly behind him and looked down at the huddled form on the bathroom floor. A look of concern washed over his face, and he stayed close by the door, not wanting to intrude. "Alex, what's wrong?"
