Who: Peyton Sawyer & Rose Tyler What: A late night wander leads to trouble. When: Night time Where: The streets Rating: TBD, can’t imagine it being really high though. Status: Incomplete
Everything about the situation was strange and not the Tree Hill kind she was used to. Nothing about her life was normal, hell, she would even consider calling it messed up as far as family and friends went but she had never experienced anything like this before. It was like something out of her imagination and not the real world, but not even she could think up something so..different. At least she wasn’t alone in it all though and it was thanks to Brooke’s trusty credit card they had a place to stay, it was only a hotel room but of course with a best friend like hers it was more like an apartment in size.
As Luxury as the hotel room was Peyton needed to get out, it was late but back home she would often go out and drive in her car (the car she didn’t have now and she was still annoyed about), at odd hours and everything even for a second seemed fine again. But here the streets were unfamiliar and she found she was more on edge, she kept looking over her shoulder expecting the worse but each time just getting empty sidewalk.
Peyton hadn’t been keeping track how long she had been walking for but her legs were beginning to ache, an indication she had been out longer than planned and she slowed down her pace until she eventually came to a stop, if she was out any longer Brooke would only worry. She looked up at the night sky with a sigh and gave herself a pep talk, everything was fine and it would all work out. Who was she kidding? Peyton slowly brought her gaze back down to reality until her eyes rested on the traffic lights on the road opposite, they were on red and she almost wanted to laugh at the irony of it all but a crash from behind her caused her attention to shift toward that instead.
One crash turned into another and another until Peyton was too damn curious to ignore it, she edged closer to the side street and tried to peer into the poorly lit area but of course without a flash light seeing anything remotely clear would be difficult. “Hello?” There was a figure there and she tensed a little, glancing around to see if any of the passer-by’s had noticed because she sure as hell didn’t want to go investigate alone.
