Sam tried to follow the talk, he really did. But he became confused at some point around 'basic functions' and all he felt able to say was a rather clueless "Huh?"
He blinked before half laughing.
"Look man, I was just a pyramid player before all this. Barely learned how to fly a Viper. Never understood about the tech, Cylon, human or whatever."
He frowned, trying to remember anything useful. "We, the humans, went pretty basic after the Cylons. No wireless communications and kept the systems as separate as possible in case of contamination. Because Cylons, I mean us, whatever. There's this downloading thing we can do. The body gets destroyed and we download to the nearest Ressurection Hub and wake up in a shiny new body. There are many copies of each humanoid model too, though every line has a different set of memories."
He paused, frowning. "Though I don't know how that works for me. I mean we saw loads of the other known models but until we were triggered, me and the other three never saw another model of ourselves. Maybe we're the last or something."
He growled slightly, trying to make sense. "Ok, so there are twelve models right? Well that's what one of the Number 6's told us. Seven were known, now four of us have been activated. So that means there's still one and.." he forced himself to stop. "I'm just babbling now aren't I..."
