"I didn't... I... Oh, hell," Gabriel stammered as a slight panic settled over him as Sam sliced across his palm. Stuffing his hand into his pocket, Gabriel yanked out a clean handkerchief, stepping forward and taking the man's hand, wrapping the cloth around the wound.
"I didn't mean it like that. I'm just...bad at phrasing things. I'm sorry," He said quietly, hanging his head. "I shouldn't have said anything. I'm just... I'm still getting used to this, and it's hard to...to not... I'm sorry."
"I did not mean to imply that you're not human," Gabriel said quietly as he looked at Sam, a deep sincerity in his eyes as he took a step back. "Just because your biology is mechanical does not mean that you don't think and feel and act as human as those who aren't."
