Gabriel had spotted the man lurking around the hotel quite a bit. Not enough that it had become worrying, but enough that he had started taking logs of how long he would stay and would he would do when outside. It wasn't anything unusual. Not as far as he could tell, but when the time period had started to exceed thirty minutes, Gabriel had figured that it was time to actually see if there was something that could be done that would satisfy his curiosity.
Having moved from the front desk and outside with the ever appearing objective of leaving, he had managed to slip away from the building and then backtrack and come back from behind it in order to (hopefully) have the element of surprise.
"You do realize," Gabriel started as he approached the lurker from the opposite end of the building, "that we don't bite. Right?" Gabriel asked, peering up at the gentleman in front of him and trying very hard to ignore the buzzing that had starting and was building in the back of his head urging him to look deeper than just the man that he saw on the surface.
