"They're over there," Mikaela spoke up, pointedly ignoring the women that 'D-Piddie' had been speaking to as she stepped out of the doorway that led to the stairs going up to her apartment. She had been sitting out there for nearly ten minutes, watching as the demons made themselves plenty cozy across the street. She'd parked her truck in the garage for the night, but it wasn't lost on her that they were sitting in the area where it normally would be parked.
Making her way toward the van, Mikaela eyed the black and red spandex wearing man with a slightly wary expression, although most of the wariness, really, was due to the exhaustion she was feeling. She hadn't been sleeping very well, lately, for obvious reasons.
"I hope you're the man I called," she said by way of greeting, "because if not, sorry, but I only have one apartment to give out as payment and it's already been promised to someone giving a fake name of Jack."
