"Aww, you don't enjoy over the top dramatics, soap opera style?" Faith laughed before finally deciding on some food and putting the menu down.
"Maybe not yet," she corrected. "But that doesn't mean you won't end up running yourself into the ground and making yourself ill in the future. Take a break, it won't kill you," she softened the lecture with a smirk.
"Well, yeah, they're vamps, generally speaking that equals some kinda psycho," she gave him a 'well duh' look. "Still, Deacon is annoyingly attractive and I'm not seeing him again." She spoke firmly, trying to convince herself as much as Lindsey. "Definitely not, because of the badness."
She couldn't resist looking a little smug. "Not the first time I've been with a woman. Was my first time with a bone fide comic book hero. Though the effect was kinda ruined by her freaking out and running off." The pride was dampened and she almost pouted again. "My ego is getting seriously wounded here. So come on, you're actually managing a relationship now, help a girl out?"
