"Los Angeles being a booming center of the entertainment and tourist trade, they probably don't want to adverise the wealth of apocalypses, supernatural creatures, and unusual deaths," Lindsey replied, shoulders rolling back in a disinterested shrug.
"You have to give them credit though. They know what to print to grab interest and what to censor to lose their reader base." When the waitress appeared, Lindsey ordered a cup of coffee but passed on ordering until he'd actually looked over the menu.
"Right." He gave her a dry look, an eyebrow arched and expression plainly disbelieving but amused. "I just work too much in comparison to the standard CEO. Usually they pawn off all their work on the underlings and go golfing." Lindsey grinned as he looked back down at the menu.
Lindsey pushed the menu towards Faith after he'd made his decision. "Because you happen to be such a traditionalist."
