Seeing his future in the way the blonde broached the question, Peter looked immediately at Sarah and held up a hand. "No. No. I've told you. There's two things I don't do. Cooking, and singing. I'll gladly sit back and watch the rest of you go ahead and sing, I'll cheer and even throw flowers, but no. No singing."
The tone was familiar. It wasn't an adamant enough tone to be final, though it might have fooled anyone who hadn't argued with him before. There was just a touch of cheek, andd they both knew that Peter would put up one hell of a fight, but in the end, Sarah would manage to get him up for a few songs. Really, it was no fun unless she had to work for it. And he would make her work for it.
