She knew she didn't look like she had just been in a fight, so that wasn't a big concern. She just answered his reassurance with a smile, still heading toward the ally. She knew San Francisco quite well, and this didn't look like some kind of slummy part of the city she would be avoiding. Why didn't she recognize it? Where had Magic School taken her? And since when could it do this.
She stopped walking when he asked the next question. So...Los Angeles. At least she was still in the same State. Billie turned to face the man again, brushing her bangs out from over her eyes. "No." she said honestly with a shrug. The idea didn't seem to bother her as much as it should. Going from one place to another wasn't new to her, though usually it was by some conscious act.
"I was at...school, running down the hallway, and next thing I know, I'm here, running down an ally." this was only making her sound even more crazy, but she still found herself not caring. "Sounds insane, I know." Her brows furrowed as she searched her head for an answer. At least he hadn't seen her vanquish that demon. That would have been hard to explain.
Having the Book of Shadows would be really handy right now. Perhaps there was something about this in it, though she didn't know what she was looking for. Billie really should take Leo's advice and start her own Book of Shadows. And she would...just as soon as she figured out what to do from here. "I shouldn't be here." she state after a minute, hands come to a rest on her hips. Well damn.
