Her thoughts about Magic School were lost when she came face to face with someone else. She quickly brought the hand that was holding the other glass vial up and shoved it into her blazer pocket. Billie tensed, but when he spoke, he made it quite obvious he wasn't a demon. Demons didn't usually care to ask if you were alright, or call anyone 'ma'am.' It sounded like something you'd call an older woman. But she chose not to voice that thought just now. How much had he seen? The bursting into flames thing was hard to miss. But maybe he hadn't got her fast enough for that. "Umm...yeah! Great, perfectly fine." a little shocked about ending up in an ally, but just fine. "Do I not look alright?" she probably should have just stopped with 'perfectly fine.'
Billie relaxed a little when she came to the general conclusion that she wasn't going to be attacked by this human. He was just a human. Letting her arms fall to her sides, she looked around the ally, trying to see if it was an area she recognized. "Crazy question, but..." she continued to walk toward the main street again, walking right past the guy. Now that she got a look at him, he was a cute one. Too old though. But still very cute. She glanced at him as she passed, then continued to talk over her shoulder. "But where am I?"
She probably sounded crazy. How many people landed themselves in an ally in a city and didn't know where they were? Or at least, how many people who weren't on drugs or didn't hit their head? She didn't really care though, she could just get her answers and leave. There were all kinds of crazies in a city, what did it matter if one man thought she was nuts?
