"I know.. I know," she muttered. "He's twisted and a bastard and I'm really never seeing him again unless it's to kill him."
She half groaned before moving to sit up on the kitchen counter.
"You heard about what happened with Angel right? The guy who used to live here? He's.. he was pretty important to me. And losing him like that.. I couldn't take it. Did some pretty stupid stuff. Like let Deacon bite me and sleep with Creed."
She focused on the kitchen clock, watching the second hand tick by.
"I just wanted to feel something. And Deacon knew how to play on that."
