Faith's eyes narrowed slightly. She hadn't had much to do with either Petrelli brother, but she knew Cordelia trusted them. And if Cordy did, that was enough for her. And Peter knew about her past, her mistakes, and yet was fine to let her stay in the Hyperion. So what had he seen in Charlie?
"Actually, I would really like you to explain that to me." She calmly toyed with a sugar packet before looking back at the other woman. "You see, you may have, deliberately or inadvertently hurt two friends of mine. And what I need to figure out now is do I give you a chance to walk away from this and make it right or do I snap you like a twig?" She smiled coldly, confident in her abilities as a Slayer to go through with the threat, Power Ranger or not.
"What it all comes down to is, do you regret the mistakes you've made in your past?"
That seemed to be the issue for Faith. Sure, Charlie had been in a rough situation, and she doubted many would really be able to say honestly that they'd react differently. But the thing about redemption, true redemption, was stopping making excuses for the past. It was something Faith herself knew well. She sat back and waited for Charlie's response.
