He considered kicking the door in, but he decided to go with the common courtesy route instead. And waited. Until, finally, a voice piped up from the other side of the door, inviting him into the area beyond. He twisted the steel knob and pushed the door open. Taking a few steps forward, he walked inside and let the door shut behind him.
He found Jack, cowering down beside a bed. Sam could tell that he wasn't very pleased with himself. But the thing of it was? Sam didn't feel sorry for him. At all. Keeping his expression as neutral as possible, he towered over the figure on the floor and stared him down.
"I'm trying my best to refrain from punching you in the face," Sam informed him, "so if you have any reason behind your sudden bout of stupidity, I highly suggest you start explaining. Right now."
