The Doctor was half expecting concrete and body beneath him but was surprised that he was caught by the sheer strength of the body behind him. He was once again on his feet, his mishap with gravity quickly forgotten. He turned about straightening out his garments and making sure he hadn’t lost anything in the near fall, everything appeared to be in order. The alien offered Jor-El a massive toothy grin “thank you my dear chap…gravity appears not to be on my side” he said with a light yet deep laugh. Gently he patted himself making sure that he wasn’t hurt or had anything wrong with him “no…no I appear to be unharmed.” The Time Lord studied his rescuer curiously there was something oddly inhuman about him, perhaps humanoid but he seemed to have a presence was entirely alien like himself. For now he said nothing about merely stretching out his hand towards him in a gesture of friendship “I am the Doctor…how do you do?” he introduced himself with a tone that was perfectly amiable and kind.
