"Oh, please," Cordelia replied in a cheerful tone. "If I were to do anything but virtually max out the card, he wouldn't know what to do with himself." Glancing at Kathy as the girl became accustomed to riding in the car, she focused on driving for a second.
After about ten minutes of working her way through the traffic and maneuvering the various streets and stoplights, the mall at long last came into view. It was as they were pulling into the parking garage in search of a space that the brunette spoke again.
"Now, I have a few places in mind that we'll try, but if you see anywhere that you want to go, just speak up, okay? We've got plenty of time so there's no need to rush the shopping experience," she commented, finally spotting a parking space that was fairly close to the main entrance of the mall.
