He quirked a brow and his lips curved into an amused smirk. Nobody besides a red would understand what was happening between them, the chemistry that was forming when they were together. "Yeah right." He rolled his eyes and barely winced at her hit, though it had stung it also sent a chill down his spine. One that he could hardly dismiss as nothing, and she had his attention.
"Nothing nothing, I just.." His voice faded before he dug himself a deeper hole and he grinned sheepishly. He remembered it like it was yesterday when they found A-Squad and Charlie revealed herself. Maybe even then that's when it started. He'd never met a female red, she was Maybe that's when she first caught his eye.
"I always knew you wanted me but damn." Jack teased as he felt her strength pulling him from the bed towards the fire exit, then he followed. She was something else.
"Oh I have no doubt. I beat you once, I can do it again." He gave a cocky smirk and followed her up the ladder with little reservation. "Nice view." He teased once they reached the top and he leaned against the ladder to look up at her with one of those patented charming smiles. But he wasn't looking at the city.
