“Ah…I would say I’m ambitious instead of naïve,” Lilith argued softly, “Because it means a compromise for both sides to treat each other fairly.” She tilted her head and scrutinized his features: “You were once a human being, mister Valek, were you as rotten as you claim they are? Perhaps you are being harsh with your blanket statements. Each person, vampire or human, is a different world.” She had continued talking and explaining her position while the vampire stepped into her personal space. There was no change on her features or a single paused beat in her speech.
