Well, that wasn't true... was it? Amelia tried to think back, to the missions she'd been on. The ones she knew of. The wars that had been fought, the lives lost. Did the Jedi opt for easy, when given the choice? Could she blame them? Would she take such way out?
She wanted to say 'no', of course. If not to the inclinations of the Jedi as a whole, than to her own personal decision. She wasn't certain she could, though.
Rather than speak, Amelia gathered the paperwork and stood, nodding her head at him. Glancing down at the table, she hesitated before meeting his gaze.
"Thank you for the information. I don't think I'll be meeting with you again. Please don't take it too personally," she stated, before turning and heading away from the table, the gift he'd given her tucked securely within her grasp.
