Except, she couldn't easily confirm it. All she could do was go to those who had been there and ask them. That didn't mean what they told her was any more or less of a truth than what he'd told her, though. And, Amelia thought as she looked at him from across the table, he likely realized as much himself.
So it all came down to what she believed. Amelia wasn't an idiot. Believing anything that Darth Caedus said just because he'd said it would be a foolish thing to do. Yet to simply ignore it all for much the same reason seemed equally foolish. Glancing down into her lap, she tried to think about the things that she knew the Jedi had done before in order to bring order and peace to a situation.
By the time she'd looked back to the man sitting with her, she knew that yes, it was entirely possible that he was telling the truth. In fact, had she been a Jedi in that situation, she'd have been hard pressed not to do just what he'd suggested they'd tried to do. After all, while the needs of the many didn't necessarily outweigh the needs of the few, and the ends didn't always justify the means, if given a chance to kill someone who was a threat to the entire galaxy she would be hesitant to simply pass it up... even if the life of an innocent hung in the balance.
"Anything else?" she questioned, her own tone deliberately even and lacking as much emotion as possible. Her eyes, though... her eyes couldn't hide the pain she felt at the thought of people she knew, trusted, and loved doing such a thing to her as a child and keeping it from her all these years.
