Actually, Amelia was late although in all fairness it wasn't her fault. On her way over she'd passed someone attempting to assault a young girl and had no other moral choice but to stop him. That had, of course, led to encountering several friends of his and stopping them, and, well, by the time the police had gotten there to sort out the mess, it was already too late for her to make it to her meeting in time. In fact, in order to make sure she wasn't even later than she had been, she'd used the Jedi Mind Trick and convinced everyone present that she hadn't been there, they hadn't seen her, and they didn't need her information.
Then she was off, using the Force to increase her speed and counting herself lucky when she was only two minutes late as she stepped through the doors of the shop.
Glancing around, she easily spotted Caedus and for a moment simply stood there and did as he thought she might. She watched him.
It was a strange feeling, looking at a man that had caused so much pain and misery in so many lives of those she knew, yet who looked identical to a man who had brought so much happiness and peace. Well, not identical she told herself. There were subtle differences. The expression on his face, the set of his jaw, even the way he sat. Little things, that she only knew to look for because she knew he was Caedus and not Jacen.
Realizing it was almost three past time for her to be there, Amelia pulled herself out of her musings and crossed the store to where he sat. Taking note of the books on the table beside him, her stomach did a sharp jolt as she realized what they were. Her gaze slid to his as she pulled out the chair across from him and sat.
"If you called me here for story time, I'm seriously going to find myself questioning why so many people are so afraid of you," she stated dryly. Hey, it was a better greeting than 'I'm here, what do you want?', which is all she'd been able to come up with on the walk over.
