Seth blinked and shook her head, keeping on her smile. “Heh. Nah, this,” she said, showing the green mobile phone to Janealle. “It’s a phone, a mobile or cell phone. You can send messages or talk to people and the data gets into huuuuge microwave antennas thanks to their incorporated transceiver. The stations that get them manage to send your message to the desired location instantly!” she finished with a sigh. “It’s technology, nothing magical, like computers.” There was a squeaked beep followed by a brief tune coming from the machine. Seth’s eyes widened slightly and held a hand up to check the message box.
“Selene just texted me back,” Seth informed her once she read the vampire’s answer, folding the cellphone and hanging it back onto her belt. “You can stay! And we’re going shopping later. Look at ya, you need clothes to blend in this century.”
