Now that Abby could agree with, she nodded in agreement. “Yeah, our little secret.” She repeated, regretting saying anything at all. Why did she have to go and say that? Sometimes she just said what was on her mind and it just happened more often around Connor because she was comfortable with him. “Then we better not overfeed, we don’t want him to get too big or he won’t be able to fly. That could be a good thing for us but bad for him.”
“Maybe if you hadn’t shot anyone in the first place we might have been a little more trusting.” Abby suggested with a smirk, before tapping his arm almost sympathetically. “But you’re improving.”
Abby looked over her shoulder at him and laughed, it wasn’t just a bulge, there was a little green head sticking out too, which looked comical. “Hide his head though or we won’t even be allowed in.” She turned back to the road, leaning more away from the pavement so she could flag her arm out when she spotted one and just to make sure she yelled for it to stop.
