"Yeah that's pretty much what I said," he admitted, "I think working with Lester makes it pretty difficult for anyone to call me anything worse than he did." He turned slightly to look at her when she said he was more than sweet, really not sure what to say. "Just our little secret, yeah?" he offered after a moment, not sure whether she really meant it or not. "Better to be safe than sorry, he is a growing lad after all, mostly outwards, but same difference."
He gave her an exagerated pout at that, "no one ever trusts me with guns, I dunno you shoot two people and they never let you live it down!" he said, breaking into a smile. At least he was more competant now, even if he was still better with the technical stuff.
"A taxi it is," he watched her as she kept an eye out for one, luckily the road the library was on was always fairly busy. "Yeah they're probably more likely to stop for you," he agreed, "some strange man with a large bulge in his jacket probably isn't their ideal customer."
