"Not really," he said carefully, not that he supposed she'd care all that much but it was better not to lie about these things. He wasn't sure what to say though, there was no point in mentioning Fred because now Abby was here he supposed he'd just wait around like he had done for the last two years, just in case. "You probably could," he said, as Rex poked his head out from under Connor's jacket as if he knew they were talking about him, "although isn't there some kind of spray you can get that makes things taste bitter, that'd probably work." He didn't really know why he was keeping this conversation going, he didn't have plants and thet couldn't go home. He supposed he could buy some though, for Rex.
"No, no I've seen what you can do, and I'm very much in favour of never feeling your wrath," he assured her quickly, "not that I'd drop Rex anyway."
"About 15 minutes, unless you run, probably safer we walk though, yeah. For Rex?"
