Abby grinned at his expression, she had only been teasing of course. “It was like he kept looking for you, I didn’t think you were that close.” She watched as Rex jumped up onto his shoulder, her grin softening somewhat. "Or maybe he was just looking to make sure you weren't coming back so he could get used to the extra space."
“No your right, lets go.” Abby stood before remembering the computer she was on and returning to switch it off, once she was done she turned to Connor and looked expectant. “You’ve been here longer, where do you suggest we go?” She paused and took a quick look around, there were very few people in the room but outside in the main area was different, “and you might want to hide Rex as we get out of here, yeah?”
