She was panting, and even as he moved from on top of her and she was able to have all the room she needed to breathe, she still couldn't bring enough air into her lungs to calm herself down. She didn't think she was ever going to come down from this now. How could she? It was all she'd ever wanted and now it finally happened. She'd probably start walking around with a stupid, lovesick grin forever now, and it was all his fault. But that wasn't so bad.
Swallowing hard, she turned her head and met his gaze, finding her heart flitting wildly inside her chest all over again when she did. And of course, she smiled almost instantly as he pulled her closer.
"I love you," she said to him, unable to count how many times she'd said it already, or how many more times she'd merely thought it. Setting her head against his shoulder, she looked up at him through the blonde hair in her eyes while her palm moved gently along his chest.
