As far as she was concerned, Heather didn't mind Sam being realistic so long as it didn't have anything to do with their relationship. She'd had enough of that. If he wanted to be realistic about everything else in the world, that was fine by her. It wasn't necessarily a bad thing, after all, but it proved to be extremely unhelpful when dealing with romance surrounded by troubled pasts and dangerous situations. They would deal with that together, though. They'd done so much already, this wouldn't be too different from all that.
Without even realizing it, Heather deepened the kiss and used more of her tongue in the midst of it. Now that she could finally kiss him without worrying, she was going to take advantage of it and really show him what he'd been missing. At the same time, she placed her hand against the side of his neck, fingers flexing lightly against his muscles.
