Immediately, she let go of a breathy laugh and grinned softly at his choice of words, but she knew what he meant, and she was so glad to hear it. She didn't want this to be just a one-time thing, just something they were doing because they lost sight of their self-control or something. She wanted this to be for real, for good. She loved him, and that was the truth.
"Good. Because I've had this dream about a hundred times already, and right around now is when I wake up. I kind of don't want to do that anymore." It might've sounded corny, and she half-expected him to laugh, but it was how she felt.
She curled her own fingers around his, giving them a squeeze between hers as he kissed her, which she graciously returned yet again. She really liked doing that, even moreso than when she just threw herself at him. And she wasn't even going to think about it anymore because it was embarrassing.
"Yeah," she said with a small nod. Her head was too messed up at the moment for her to really say much in that moment, but at least it was messed up in a good way for once. "Yeah, come on." She stepped back from him, albeit regrettably even if they were only a foot or so apart for the moment, and tugged him gently towards the bed. She hoped that was where he meant they could sit, and if not...well, he would have to tell her otherwise because yeah, the brain wasn't all there.
