Elizabeth had returned from the bright contraption to her spot on the beach. She hadn't wandered far, really. She felt like exploring but according to someone on the bright boxy thing, she was in the 21st century and she didn't know how she'd handle it if she came into contact with the actual outside world. She bit her lip and stared off onto the horizon, millions of different thoughts buzzing through her head. If she was here, then maybe Jack was. She didn't know why she cared so much about him and his well-being. The way she saw it, it was his fault she was in this mess. It was easier to blame the notorious pirate rather than herself.
Her thoughts trailed off to William and she wondered if he was thinking about her, and wondering where she had went. Probably not. He'd been far too concerned with getting his father back to even care about her or show her any interests. Which could in turn explain why her loyalties were straying towards the pirate lord.
Hearing a strange noise, she looked up and her eyes widened. Over head there was a large white thing with wing things on either side of it.
"My God, that is quite possibly the largest bird I have ever seen!" she said in awe as she pulled her knees up to her chest and hugged them.
