To Alessa, playgrounds at night were a safe haven of sorts. She didn't mind the darkness, having been accustomed to it since a very young age. No, rather she liked them, because not many decided to go to these places at night. Alessa knew well about the risks involved, but she could protect herself.
Alessa found herself at this particular playground, after needing both some fresh air, and some space to think. Her walk was slower than usual. When she reached the swings she sat down on one of them, but didn't swing. Instead she used her foot, and started to drag it across the dirt forming patterns.
She suspected that someone else was nearby, but she didn't feel threatened.
