It was about the time they had passed the cereal aisle and had finally gotten out of earshot of the mother of the little boy who was stating quite loudly how some people had no manners that Mikaela made a very important decision. One that would, she was sure, have a lasting effect on her friendship with Bumblebee as well as his ability to fully experience what it was like to be a human.
She was never, ever, ever, taking him shopping. Not ever again.
"Bee," she finally stated when they'd reached the frozen section, "you need to pick out something that looks good to eat, remember?" She wanted to hiss at him to quit touching everything, if only so people would stop giving them the look of death as they passed, but she really didn't have the heart. He seemed to utterly thrilled with all of this that she was loathe to put an end to his fun.
"What about some pizza? Everyone loves pizza." Okay, not entirely true, but it had worked as a first meal for Starscream and Skyfire. Maybe it would work for him, too.
Thinking about that again, and realizing she'd just compared Starscream and Bumblebee, she ammended, "Or some chicken strips and french fries? That's one of Sam's favorites."
By this point, of course, she had already managed to snag the few items she needed to buy. With any luck, she could find something that appealed to the former giant robot and they could get out of there. Preferrably before security had them thrown out.
