Yes, of course the other Autobots would tend to Sam, but Bumblebee liked to think of himself as Sam's favorite and he hated to think of the worry and further angst the boy might go through. He gave one brisk nod about the patience, thinking he could try.
"I remember your father figure. Or...the stories you told Sam. I am...sorry." He felt it was the right thing to say and he mimicked something he'd seen humans do before by rubbing a thumb over her knuckles. "I am sure Sam will understand, he did before. And he cares deeply for you."
He followed her gaze and tilted his head, looking back at her. "I don't know. I've never been hungry before, I don't think." Autobots didn't eat like humans did. They consumed another way.
