Some time after lunch, the youngest present Jonas caught sight of the neck of his guitar and bit his lower lip, glancing around to see if anyone was around to see him. Truth be told, he hadn't been able to play any music lately and he felt slightly empty. He had left to go to the beach for a walk early in the morning, but upon arriving found it to be closed and had since returned home in low spirits. Now he just wanted to get out of the house.
The boy grabbed his guitar and rushed out of the house, walking quickly down the street as he went. He didn't want anyone to stop him for conversation, didn't want someone from the house to chance a glance out the window and see him walking down the road. He just wanted to get out and sing. When he got to a spot that seemed adequate, he sat under a tree and made himself comfortable, glancing down at his guitar. Nick began plucking at strings randomly, until a song came to him from it.
It was one of their older songs, from their first album and while it was relevant to the time they were in, he didn't know if he wanted to sing it or not. Sighing, he breathed out slowly and stared down at the guitar as he began to sing,
"Wednesday I came home from school Did my homework in my room then I watched some TV I still miss you
It sounded strange, now to sing it. His voice had deepened considerably, and it almost didn't sound right but the lyrics reminded him of home and the normalcy he once shared with his brothers.
